I was humbled to be able to work once again with author, historian, and retired Marine Engineer Jessica DuLong, as well as The 9/11 Legacy Foundation, to create this important call to action. Because “Never Forget” should be more than just a catchphrase.
The 9/11 Legacy Foundation is a newly formed organization dedicated to preserving the firsthand history of September 11, 2001, and educating current and future generations on the profound and lasting impacts of that event.

I was honored to work with author, historian, and retired Marine Engineer Jessica DuLong to create this video about her book "Saved at the Seawall: Stories from the September 11 Boat Lift".
To this day, most people aren't aware that New York Harbor was the site of the largest maritime evacuation in history. Jessica was there to witness much of it, and her book stands as both an important historical record and a commentary on how ordinary people respond to extraordinary situations.
