From 2021 through 2023, I worked as Editor on “Nyctophobia”, a feature-length experimental horror film written and directed by Seayoon Jeong. The film is currently on the festival circuit.
This is one of two official trailers that I conceived and cut for the film.
UPDATE: In June, “Nyctophobia” won the award for Outstanding Editing from the 2024 Art of Brooklyn Film Festival.
In 2018, I filmed the legendary Brooklyn dive bar Hank’s Saloon in the final months before they closed their doors forever. The footage remained on the back burner for years due to other work.
However, earlier this year, I held a successful crowdfund campaign in order to prioritize the project and finally complete the feature documentary. This is the pitch video I created to accompany my Indiegogo fundraiser.
(If you missed it but want to participate, you can still donate to the project here.)
In the summer of 2021, I was invited to film several incarnations of THE SPELL, an open creative jam session created by singer, tap dancer, and live-sample artist Liberty Styles.
In keeping with the collaborative spirit of the event, I filmed their outdoor party over the course of one day, then sampled and remixed various audio moments to create the soundtrack for this video.

Music Video

One of two promo videos I created for the historic Highlander Research and Education Center, summarizing their two-day online Zoom event held in June 2020.
This is a personal art project, which I created during lockdown while recovering from a COVID-19 infection.
Both the music and video were crafted entirely from public-domain audio samples and footage.
I made this movie—with the help of my talented wife Ashlie— inside our apartment in April 2020, in response to Roger Corman’s Quarantine Film Festival challenge.
The challenge: Make a movie, under two minutes, without leaving your home, using only a cell phone and available lights.
Shot on a Galaxy S10 phone. All jobs except acting were done by me.

I had been kicking around the idea of this video for quite a while. While recovering from COVID-19 in April 2020, I suddenly found myself with more time on my hands, and figured it was a good opportunity to finally sit down and make it happen.
